The first day of the August festival at Tramore attracted a fine crowd yesterday and the action continues at the seaside venue this evening with a seven-race jumps card which begins at 5.00pm.
A dry, warm and sunny day is forecast and the ground is Good, Good to Yielding in places (Chase) and Good to Yielding (Hurdle) with selective watering to take place this morning.
Fresh ground is available on the hurdle track and the chase bends.
Cork stages an eight-race Flat card, including a couple of stakes races, which gets under way at 4.15pm.
The ground is Good, Good to Firm in places and it's set to be a mainly dry day.
