The ground is drying out ahead of Thursday evening’s Irish racing action at Leopardstown and Tramore. It’s now good to yielding at the Co.Dublin venue, with a mainly dry forecast for the day, with a seven race programme on offer featuring the Group 3 Desmond Stakes.

Tramore’s four day August Festival begins with a seven race National Hunt card, with the ground now good and selective watering a possibility if required. It’s forecast to be dry ahead of racing in the sunny south-east.

The Curragh host their second of four successive August Friday evening fixtures tomorrow, and there’s still a good cut in the ground at headquarters.

It’s currently yielding on the round course and yielding to soft on the straight course after 4mm of rain on Wednesday.

After a dry Thursday, rain is forecast overnight until lunchtime on race day.

The middle track is being utilised, and the stalls will be positioned in the centre for all sprint (5f and 6f) races.
