Heavy rain is causing problems for racecourses in Ireland this weekend with Downpatrick monitoring their situation.

The ground at the Co Down track is currently Soft to Heavy. Heavy rain is forecast and the situation will continue to be monitored.

The Curragh is currently Soft to Heavy and there has been 4.6mm of rain overnight. More rain is forecast today but it is to be mainly dry thereafter though.
