GUINEAS HOPES ON SHOW IN CHEVELEY PARK

Enthused and Regal Rose, favourite and second-favourite for the Sagitta 1000 Guineas, were among 13 fillies declared today for Tuesday`s Shadwell Stud Cheveley Park Stakes.

Both are trained by Sir Michael Stoute who lifted this Group One contest in 1994 with Gay Gallanta.

Enthused, the mount of Johnny Murtagh, has won three of her four starts to date, including the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot and the Lowther Stakes at York.

Brian Meehan`s Autumnal, second in the Princess Margaret and third at York, reopposes the Seeking The Gold filly, as does the John Dunlop-trained Lowther runner-up Khulan.

Santolina, fourth in the Princess Margaret and winner of the Sirenia Stakes at Kempton last time, also bids for revenge for in-form trainer John Gosden.

Regal Rose, who will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, is less experienced, having won her only start at Ascot in July.

Trainer Aidan O`Brien is triple-handed in the #130,000 contest, headed by Moyglare Stud Stakes winner Sequoyah. Dietrich and Toroca make up the trio.

Mala Mala, trained by Tommy Stack, makes up the Irish-based quartet.
