Trainer George Margarson is eyeing the Entenmann's Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh on Saturday week for his stable star Barathea Guest.
The colt could attempt to improve on his third behind King's Best and Giant's Causeway in the Sagitta 2000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier in the month.
Trainer George Margarson said today: 'I intend to supplement Barathea Guest. After all it's #25,000 which is about #16,500 sterling. The exchange rate is in our favour these days.
'Barathea Guest will need a cut in the ground however and we will make up our minds between the supplementary stage next Tuesday and the race itself.
'I believe that on softer ground he would have won the Guineas at Newmarket and I have no fear of taking on the runner-up Giant's Causeway again.'
