GRUNWICK BOOST FOR JUMP RACING

George Ward's Grunwick Group of companies, represented by the Bonusprint, Doubleprint and Tripleprint photo-processing brands, is continuing its sponsorship of British jump racing for the remainder of the season.

Coming races sponsored by the companies include the £10,000-added Bonusprint Handicap Chase at Newbury on Saturday.

And Hereford's meeting on Friday week, features seven races, all sponsored by brands of the Grunwick Group.

The Grade One Bonusprint Stayers' Hurdle, the championship long-distance hurdling event with £115,000 in prize money, is run at Cheltenham's National Hunt Festival a fortnight today.

This year's race is shaping into a vintage renewal with the Irish-trained Limestone Lad bidding for an amazing eighth win of the season against rivals likely to include last year's first and third Anzum and Lady Rebecca.

Other leading contenders include Bacchanal, who failed by a neck to catch Lady Rebecca last time out, and Behrajan, winner of the Tote Exacta Long Distance Hurdle at Haydock in January.

The Grunwick Group is also sponsoring at two Ludlow fixtures, with a Doubleprint-backed contest at the course's charity day on April 5th and Tripleprint supports a race on May 1st.

George Ward said: "The Bonusprint Stayers' Hurdle is the highlight of the sponsorship at this time of year but we also support some of the smaller meetings at the grass-roots of jump racing."
