GRAMPAS OUT

Leading fancy Bound For Pleasure will be John Gosden`s sole representative in tomorrow`s Tote Cambridgeshire at Newmarket following today`s final declaration stage.

The Manton trainer`s Grampas, who had been a 14-1 chance with William Hill, was the most notable withdrawal from the #120,000 handicap.

The James Fanshawe-trained Blue Sugar, who had been a 20-1 chance for the race with Hills, is another absentee from the contest, for which a maximum field of 35 has been declared.

Bound For Pleasure, a winner at Doncaster last time, has been backed down to joint-favouritism for the nine-furlong contest this week.

He shares the head of the market with Sir Michael Stoute`s Nooshman, who was unlucky-in-running in the Courage Best Handicap at Newbury last time.

All the other fancies stand their ground including the Jeremy Noseda-trained Man O`Mystery, who had Nooshman one place behind him when second in the John Smith`s Cup at York in July.

The other big race on the card is the Peugeot Sun Chariot Stakes, in which Alshakr bids to follow up her victory in the Falmouth Stakes in July.

The nine-runner field for the one-mile Group

Two contest also includes Lady Of Chad, trained in France by Richard Gibson.

Petrushka, who had an alternative engagement

in Sunday`s Prix de l`Opera at Longchamp, was among the withdrawals.
