Godolphin have bought American juvenile Express Tour for an undisclosed sum, it was revealed today.
The Thoroughbred Times website reported that the two-year-old, previously trained by Marty Wolfson in Florida, would be shipped to Dubai and prepared for the 2001 Triple Crown in the United States.
Beaten on his debut, Express Tour went on to win his three remaining starts at Calder racecourse.
Godolphin will be hoping Express Tour will make more of an impact than some of their other recent American purchases.
The likes of Worldly Manner, Comeonmom, Chief Seattle and Adair all failed to shine after being bought by the Dubai-based operation.
