Glyndebourne, who finished second to Sinndar in the Budweiser Irish Derby, has been sold to race in Hong Kong.
The Aidan O`Brien-trained colt had been quoted as one of the favourites for the Rothmans Royals St Leger but will miss that race and will leave for Hong Kong shortly.
He was purchased from Michael Tabor by Thomas Liang after the Hong Kong businessman saw the colt during a tour of O`Brien`s Ballydoyle stables.
'I like dealing with Mr O`Brien and I am becoming a good client of his. Perhaps I can have a discount next time!' said Liang, who was referring to his previous purchase from the stable, Johan Cruyff, who went on to win some major races in Hong Kong for trainer Patrick Biancone.
Liang added: 'This colt reminded me 80 per cent of Johan Cruyff and I had a special feeling when I saw him. I think he can do even better when he comes to Hong Kong.'
