GALLAGHER TO PARTNER LOI IN TEST GALLOP

A decision on whether Hors La Loi III runs in the Smurfit Champion Hurdle or the Bonusprint Stayers' Hurdle at Cheltenham is likely to be made after the horse works at Chantilly tomorrow morning.

Dean Gallagher, who is enjoying his best season on the home front, will fly over to partner the Francois Doumen-trained gelding.

"I will go over from Heathrow first thing and I am looking forward to seeing him again," he explained.

"I believe he is in very good form and it is a question of seeing whether he has sharpened up from his win in the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton last month.

"It will be his final piece of prep work before he comes over to England on Sunday and his owner Paul Green and Mr Doumen will decide which race he will go for at the Festival after he has galloped."

Gallagher is looking forward to riding the five year old in whichever race he takes his chance.

He went on: "After riding the work I will go on to Angers to ride a horse owned by Daniel Wildenstein who is with the top French jump trainer Jean Paul Gallorini in a £25,000 chase - I think he is second favourite.

"I rode a couple of horses for Mr Gallorini over there on Sunday and he said I could go across there during the summer and ride for him on Wednesdays and Sundays so I'm pleased about that too."
