The Cutbush native got the best out of Steve Mahon's Miriams Rose in the 8.45, as the daughter of Saddlers' Hall beat Ardilaun by two lengths. Chaussettes the well-backed favourite, finished down the field in eighth.
Miriams Rose helped make up for Mahon's disappointment in the previous race with Greengables (EM)
