Five Irish among Becher 26

Five Irish trained horses are among 26 declared for Saturday's Listed Betfred Becher Handicap Chase at Aintree on Saturday which will be run over the Grand National course.

Uncle Junior for Willie Mullins, Rare Bob for Dessie Hughes, Notre Pere for Barry Potts, Merchent Paddy for Charles Byrnes and the Noel Meade trained Another Palm are the five Irish still involved.

Last year's winner Hello Bud will be bidding to repeat the dose for his trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies while Mad Max for Neill Mulholland and Always Waining for Peter Bowen are other interesting contenders.
