La Feline quickened clear in good style to run out an impressive winner of the second division of the mares maiden hurdle at Limerick this afternoon.
The 5/2 favourite tracked the leaders in the two-mile-five contest before being sent to the front before the second last by Bryan Cooper.
Paul Nolan 's charge powered away from Coosan Clover before the final flight and went on to record a 17 length victory. The runner-up held the late challenge of Little Token by a head.
La Feline had shown improvement when finishing second on her most recent start at the venue over Christmas.
"The lads (Kilcommon Or Bust Partnership) had a horse with me before and he went wrong on us and got injured so I'm delighted with this,” said Nolan.
"This one has done them a turn now and she was unlucky to meet one of Henry's (De Bromhead) here at Limerick over Christmas. The winner was a good second at Gowran and the third won subsequently so the form has worked out well.
"I was worried about how deep the ground was but Bryan said she handles it well and was very similar to the Christmas ground.
"She went well to the line at Christmas and we were lucky she got the lesser side of the divide."
