Henry de Bromhead has a familiar starting point in mind for Envoi Allen, the Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal on November 2nd.
Successful in this Grade 1 contest in 2022 before going down by a neck to Gerri Colombe 12-months ago, the brilliant 10-year-old is again set for a trip north.
The aforementioned Gerri Colombe also features among nine entries for this prestigious prize, along with stable companions Conflated, American Mike, Found A Fifty, Delta Work and Zanahiyr.
"He is great form, he's got a couple more bits of work to do but once they go well he'll be there," de Bromhead commented.
"He's in good form at the moment and we're working towards it and hoping to get there."
