Donnacha O'Brien has been having a good time of things in 2024 and Usdi Atohi was another stakes winner for him on Wednesday when landing the Coolmore Ten Sovereigns Tipperary Stakes under Gavin Ryan.

Afterwards the Cashel handler had news of stable star Porta Fortuna who gained her second success at the highest level in Royal Ascot's Coronation Stakes a fortnight ago.

“She’s in good form and came out of Ascot very well. We are thinking of going to the Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket next week and after that we’ll see how we go but she’ll probably get a break after that.

“Quick ground and a mile she gets away with it — I don’t think she wants any further. She’s pacey but she stayed it well the last two runs.”
