Fruits Of Love, who was forced to miss the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes through injury, is back in work and being prepared for an autumn campaign.
Mark Johnston`s stable star knocked himself the weekend before the Ascot feature but after being declared at the 48-hour stage he was found to be lame the day before the race.
The Middleham trainer`s wife Deirdre said at Ayr today: 'He is back cantering and is very well, I rode him this morning myself as usual and he felt great.
'He is in the Juddmonte (International Stakes) at York next week but that may come too soon. There is also the Grosser Preis Von Baden at Baden-Baden next month and the Canadian International in Toronto, but nothing is finalised and we will have to discuss plans with the owners.'
Stable companion Yavana`s Pace was found to be lame after finishing fifth in the Group One ELE Pokal Grosser Erdgas-Preis in Germany last Sunday, but Mrs Johnston went on: 'It was his right fore but he was sound the next morning so we don`t really know what the problem was.
'He gets back home tomorrow morning so we will have to reassess the situation then.'
