Jimmy Fortune`s appeal against the suspension he received at Newbury on Sunday will be heard by the Jockey Club`s disciplinary committee at 8.45am tomorrow.
Fortune was found guilty of careless riding aboard Farfala in the Cantor Fitzgerald Gilt Edged Chalice Stakes and banned for two days.
The ban triggers a further six-day suspension deferred from June under the `totting-up procedure`.
Trainer Willie Musson and jockey Lee Newton will be the subject of an inquiry into the running and riding of Bintang Timor in the Champs Elysees Handicap at Windsor on July 3.
The hearing follows a review of the horses`s runs under the Jockey`s Club`s monitoring system.
The committee will consider whether Mussson is in breach of Rule 155(i) and (ii) over giving adequate instructions to ensure a horse runs to its merits, and whether Newton broke Rule 158 which deals with giving a horse an `easy` race.
