Officials at Folkestone racecourse will hold an inspection tomorrow morning to determine whether the fixture scheduled for the afternoon can go ahead.
Clerk of the course Fergus Cameron said: "We will hold a 7.30am inspection as the course is currently unraceable with parts of the track still frozen.
"The forecasters are indicating temperatures of -3C in the early part of the evening with temperatures due to rise quite quickly after midnight.
"At this stage I would say our chances of racing are just 50-50."
Today's meeting at Wincanton was the latest meeting to fall to the current cold snap affecting the south of England when it was called off following an early morning inspection.
