Flagship Uberalles will attempt to redeem his reputation following a disappointing Aintree effort when lining up for the Bonusprint Handicap Chase at Ayr on Saturday.
Paul Nicholls' six-year-old, an expensive failure when favourite and pulled up before four out at Aintree's Grand National meeting last week, will shoulder top weight of 12 stone in the #20,000 contest.
Nicholls said: "Hopefully the race will do his confidence a bit of good. He made a couple of mistakes at Aintree and I think that unnerved him on the fast ground which resulted in Joe (Tizzard) having to pull him up.
"But he's been absolutely bouncing at home since and it's a decent prize plus the fact it is a long time until he can run again next November, so after talking it over with the owners we've decided to run. Joe will be in the saddle again," added the Shepton Mallet trainer.
However, Tizzard will not be aboard Fadalko when the Robert Ogden-owned seven-year-old goes to post for the Grade Two Ashleybank Investments Future Champion Novices' Chase at Ayr on Saturday as Mick Fitzgerald has been booked.
Fadalko ran twice at the Cheltenham Festival with Tizzard on board when unseating the rider in the Irish Independent Arkle Chase and two days later finishing a gallant second behind Stormyfairweather in the Cathcart Chase.
"He ran twice at Cheltenham but came back from the meeting in very good form," declared Nicholls of the gelding who landed the Scottish Champion Hurdle on the corresponding card 12 months ago.
"He will really appreciate the good ground at Ayr and has no problem with the two-and-a-half-mile trip as the Cathcart was a furlong further and he seemed to get that well enough.
"He was also entered in the two-mile handicap chase but with Flagship Uberalles now going for that race it was decided Fadalko should run in the Future Champions," the trainer added.
