Henry Cecil and Kieren Fallon have reached agreement in the dispute which followed the jockey`s sacking from his post as stable jockey to the Newmarket trainer.
Fallon had issued a High Court writ for compensation against Cecil following his controversial dismissal in July of last year. He alleged breach of contract over the manner in which he was given only five days` notice of the sacking. Cecil had cited 'personal reasons' for the jockey`s dismissal.
However, a joint-statement issued yesterday from their respective solicitors to PA Sport stated: 'Henry Cecil and Kieren Fallon confirm that they have amicably resolved their outstanding dispute, and will not be making any further comment on the matter in the future.'
