Gordon Elliott is double-handed in the Bord Na Mona Fire Magic Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown this afternoon with impressive Fairyhouse winner Toner D'Oudairies and the consistent Al Dafa
However, Elliott believes the conditions are much more in the favour of Toner D'Oudairies and expects the Gigginstown Stud-owned youngster to come out on top.
"Toner is the classier of the two but Al Dafa is tough and in good form, so we thought we'd let him take his chance," said Elliott.
"Toner has to carry a 3lb penalty but has been very impressive so far this season and hopefully with a bit of luck he'll go well.
"Soft ground is definitely what Toner wants, whereas Al Dafa wants better ground, so I'd have to favour Toner."
