Gordon Elliott is confident No More Heroes will show his true colours at the Cheltenham Festival after finding the reason for his poor run at Leopardstown.
The six-year-old, owned by Gigginstown House Stud, scoped dirty after finishing fifth to Outlander when sent off 11-8 favourite to register a second Grade Two success of the campaign.
With Cheltenham still more than a month away, Elliott has no doubt No More Heroes will be in prime condition.
"He was probably the one big disappointment of the season I've had so far, I couldn't understand that he was never travelling or jumping. He wasn't himself at all," the County Meath handler told At The Races.
"We got the scope out and he was very dirty, so he got a course of antibiotics. He seems to be back in good form. He trotted for a week, there's five weeks to Cheltenham so it will be all systems go for the Albert Bartlett.
"I think we will definitely see a different horse the next day. He seems to be in good nick now and we're looking forward to it.
"It doesn't make any difference not having a prep run. On the whole he jumps well and I'm not too worried.
"Obviously I don't know if he'll go on the better ground there, but I don't see it being a problem.
"It's never too quick and the ground will be lovely over there. Going three miles will be right up his alley."
No More Heroes is a best-priced 10-1 shot for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle. He also holds an entry in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle.
