Shane Buggy's long wait with Core Element is reaping benefits as the filly recorded back-to-back wins in the 47-65 handicap at Sligo.
Gary Carroll sent his mount to the front with over two furlongs to run in the extended six furlong event.
She stayed on strongly down the straight to record a two-length victory over In Good Voice
The winner had made a victorious return from a long break at Dundalk last time and defied her 7lb rise for that success in good style here.
"It should have all happened years ago with her!" joked Buggy afterwards.
"We were concerned about today's ground and she won't run on it again.
"She was in the fillies race here but Gary convinced us to go for this. We'll take it one step at a time with her.
"She can be very firey but has settled a good bit this year. She's in at Leopardstown on Thursday but I don't think she'll run."
