Semblance Of Order comfortably accounted for his four rivals in the Tote Download The App Median Auction Maiden.

Placed four times from his previous eight starts, the 81-rated three-year-old was sent off the even money favourite, drifting from 8/11.

Soon in second under Billy Lee, the Andy Oliver-trained bay was pushed along to lead approaching the straight and he soon stretched clear, coming home three-and-a-quarter lengths to the good.

The well-supported Arniemac (9/2 to 11/4) failed to take advantage of his inside draw as he was slow into stride under Declan McDonogh. He did however make late headway to finish a never nearer second.

"It's lucky for us at Sligo and they do a great job over here," Oliver said.

"I was a wee bit afraid that when you have a warm order favourite everything has to happen, you're a sitting duck for things but he did it well.

"He obviously gets further so it gives us a few options. He's had three quick runs so I'll probably freshen him up and bring him back for something towards the end of May.

"He's not ground dependent. He goes on this ground but he's a lovely mover so we have no fear of better ground. I'm glad to get that done because he has been knocking on the door."

STEWARDS REPORTS

The Raceday Stewards informed P.F.O'Donnell, trainer that One For The Gap would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Arniemac, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked a bit to the left coming off the final bend.

J. Kearney, rider of Brasilian Princess (FR), trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout this race.

S. Foley, rider of Love Mocha (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after the turn into the straight involving Arniemac, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed second, and Brasilian Princess (FR), ridden by J. Kearney, placed fifth, where it appeared that Arniemac made an outward manoeuvre which may have caused interference to Brasilian Princess (Fr). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, J. Kearney stated that his mount had hung left throughout this race and at this point of the race she received a small bump from Arniemac on her inner which had no bearing on her finishing position. D.P. McDonogh stated that his mount ran up on heels and ducked to the left but over exaggerated the move during that manoeuvre. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise D.P. McDonogh to ride with more care. Ms Elaine O'Farrell accompanied J. Kearney at this enquiry.
