Vodafone Oaks second, third and fourth Kalypso Katie, Melikah and Petrushka headed 12 declarations today for Sunday's Irish Oaks at the Curragh.
Godolphin have supplemented Melikah and Ribblesdale Stakes runner-up Teggiano at a cost of £20,000 apiece for the Classic, which is sponsored by Sheikh Mohammed under the name of his Kildangan Stud in County Kildare.
Mick Channon's Ribblesdale Stakes winner Miletrian and local trainer Michael Grassick's Preseli, short-headed by Lady Upstage for the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh recently, are the other likely main contenders.
Aidan O'Brien has left in both Amethyst and Chiang Mai but the latter will only run if there is ease in the ground.
The going at the Curragh was described as good today by manager Jason Morris, and the weather forecast indicates the ground should dry out further as the week progresses.
Mick Channon has left Pan Jammer in the Group Three Anglesey Stakes on the same card, with Karl Burke's Lost at Sea the only other British acceptor.
O'Brien has nine engaged in the Anglesey, including Honours List, Pyrus and Pyrus of Penzance, while Eddie Lynam has paid £5,2500 to supplement Berlin - winner of the recent Goffs £100,000 Challenge at the Curragh.
