EDDERY TO RENEW PARTNERSHIP WITH INDIAN

Pat Eddery will renew his association with Indian Lodge in the Breeders` Cup Mile at Churchill Downs a week on Saturday, it was announced today.

The 11-time champion jockey recorded his first Group One victory of the season on Amanda Perrett`s four-year-old in the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp earlier this month.

Eddery has ridden two winners at the Breeders` Cup. He won the Turf on Pebbles at Aqueduct in 1985 and the Sprint on Sheikh Albadou at Churchill Downs six years later.

'Pat Eddery will ride Indian Lodge,' Mrs Perrett confirmed this morning. 'The horse worked this morning and worked well. I`m happy with him. He`ll fly out to Kentucky over the weekend.'

Indian Lodge, who also won the Group One Prix du Moulin earlier this season, will be retired to the Rathbarry Stud in Ireland after his trip to America.
