Visibility is currently poor at Dundalk as the track has been covered by a thick fog.

Officials are happy that conditions are not severe enough to be a threat to the card but are hoping the situation does not worsen.

The only Dundalk meeting to be cancelled in the all-weather era was due to fog, back in October 2007.

"We are fine at the moment and there is no problem but we just hope that the fog doesn't get any worse," said Clerk of the Course Brendan Sheridan.
