Jack Cleary doubled up for Aidan O'Brien and the Coolmore partners when Dublin justified 15/8 favouritism in the Tote Ireland Maiden.

Blinkered for his debut, the son of Dubawi and Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Marvellous was close up early before being slotted into third place at the halfway stage. Travelling well turning for home, he struck the front at the furlong pole to beat Finsceal Luas by four lengths.

"I ride him quite a bit at home so know him well and he is a very straightforward horse," said Cleary.

"I was confident he would run a huge race today, so I'm happy. He has taken time but has come to himself recently and is going well now."
