Trainer Henry De Bromhead registered a double at Limerick today as his Deans Road made a winning chase debut in the Coral.ie Bet & Watch Irish And UK Racing Live Beginners Chase, under Davy Russell.
Afterwards De Bromhead, earlier successful with Balzac Turgot stated “Davy gave him a super ride and while he jumped well, he jumped a bit left the whole way. That was a bit of a worry and we'll get him checked out but today was a nice start.
“He was only getting away with heavy ground during the winter and we left him off after he won here in December. He is better suited by better ground and could go to Kilbeggan in June for a winners race while there are also races for him at Killarney in July and August.”
