A six-week working holiday in Dubai is the prize for the top apprentice in a points-based competition during the Flat Turf season.
The competition, promoted by the British Racing School, the Northern Racing College and Ireland's Racing Apprentice Centre, is for graduates of the schools who claim the 7lb allowance at the start of the season and those who are later granted a licence.
Apprentices can pick up points when they ride in any Flat race in Britain between this Thursday (March 23rd) and Saturday, November 4th. There are 10 points for a win, six for second, four for third and one for a ride.
Points will be earned in races on both the turf and all-weather and against professionals as well as in apprentice-only contests.
The apprentice with the highest number of points will be offered a six-week working holiday in Dubai provided by the British Bloodstock Agency, through the Robin Hastings Memorial Trust Fund.
