Group One winner Cape Cross is to shuttle to Sir Patrick Hogan's Cambridge Stud in New Zealand for the 2000 southern hemisphere covering season.
The son of Green Desert, winner of the 1998 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, is standing his first season at Darley's Kildangan Stud in Ireland where he is fully booked.
Kildangan Stud's managing director Joe Osborne said: "Sir Patrick is a stallion master of world repute. It's a strong vote of confidence in Cape Cross that he is keen to stand him alongside the sensational Zabeel, and on the stud that was home to Sir Tristram for so many years."
