The early-season showdown between Looks Like Trouble and Florida Pearl has been put back a week because Down Royal`s two-day fixture this Friday and Saturday was postponed today as the course is unraceable.
The meeting will now be staged on November 17th and November 18th.
Looks Like Trouble and Florida Pearl, first and second in last season`s Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup, are due to clash in the James Nicholson Wine Merchant Champion Chase on the Saturday.
Entries for that race stand, but fresh entries are needed for all the other races.
Down Royal manager Mike Todd said this morning: 'The local river, the Lagan, has burst its banks and flooded the three-mile chase start. It`s the highest it has been for 15 years.
'The rest of the course is in amazing condition considering the rain we have had.'
