Richard Hughes will appear at an inquiry of the Jockey Club`s disciplinary committee on Monday after being referred to Portman Square by the Newmarket stewards.
The jockey found himself in hot water with the Newmarket officials following the European Breeders Fund Balaton Lodge Maiden Fillies` Stakes on October 28th.
He was referred to the stewards of the Jockey Club on two counts for riding offences and his mount Como, who finished fourth was demoted to last place.
Como was found to have caused interference at the start having moved across before the marker poles and offended under Rule 153, governing irresponsible riding, in that he appeared to make a manoeuvre that he should have known would cause interference.
As he had already picked up 15 days of suspensions under the same Rule, he was automatically referred to Portman Square.
Hughes was also found to be in breach of not riding straight to the marker poles, and having already been in breach for that offence three times during the previous 12 months he was referred for that as well.
The inquiry is due to start at 2.30pm.
