Love Divine ran out a clear-cut winner of the £300,000 Vodafone Oaks to give trainer Henry Cecil his seventh victory in the Epsom Classic and his fourth in the last five years.
Richard Quinn, winning his first Classic as Cecil's stable jockey, positioned his mount on the heels of the leaders as Lady Upstage and Clipper set a steady pace.
Lady Upstage quickened the pace coming down the hill but Quinn had the move covered on the 9-4 favourite and set off in pursuit along with 7-2 second-best Kalypso Katie.
Hitting the front over two furlongs out the Diesis filly galloped on strongly and had two lengths to spare over Kalypso Katie at the line.
Godolphin's Melikah (10-1) stayed on well under Chris McCarron to take third, a further neck adrift with Petrushka in fourth.
The winning trainer said: 'She was ill a month ago and has done very well to come back.
'She could have done with another race but there wasn't one.
'It was only her third race. She ran a little bit green.
'She didn't have a hard race - Richard said she didn't have a hard race.'
Remarking on his fine record in the race Cecil added: 'I've been very lucky to be given some very good fillies to train and I've not managed to destroy them all.'
