Henry Cecil today reported Vodafone Oaks favourite Love Divine on course for Epsom after she shone in a gallop this morning with High Walden.
The filly, impressive winner of the Lupe Stakes at Goodwood last week, has been the subject of an ante-post plunge with Coral for the Classic today, the firm cutting her to 2-1 from 7-2 for the race.
Love Divine is expected to be supplemented on Friday for the Classic, though a decision regarding High Walden's entry will be left to her owner, Khalid Abdulla.
Cecil said: "Let's hope Love Divine stays right. She should run very well. I'm not saying we're going to win, but I think she'll run well."
The Warren Place trainer denied that High Walden had disappointed in the workout and said: "High Walden worked fine but the other filly worked so well."
He suggested that High Walden would not be supplemented for Epsom at a cost of £15,000 and he added: "When you're supplementing, you don't want to spend that amount of money on something that's finished second in a gallop behind one that's won it so easily, but the final decision will be with the Prince."
Corinium, who is already entered in the Oaks, is expected to represent Cecil in addition to Love Divine.
