DIKTAT UNDER ORDERS IN JAPAN

Godolphin's top sprinter Diktat takes on a high class field in the Keio Hai Spring Cup over seven furlongs in Tokyo on Sunday.

Godolphin won the 1996 running of the Group Two contest with Heart Lake.

Drawn seven in a field of 18, Diktat's rivals include the 1999 winner Grass Wonder. Darryll Holland has the ride.

Diktat is expected to stay over in Japan after the race to contest the Group One Yasuda Kinen over a mile at the same course in June.

Yet to race this term, Diktat won four of his five outings last season including the Prix Maurice de Gheest and the Stanley Leisure Sprint Cup.

Holland was successful on Godolphin's All The Way in the Emirates Singapore Derby at Kranji last Sunday.
