Happy Diamond was in the news for the second successive weekend after being disqualified at Newcastle today.
Last Sunday the Mark Johnston-trained three-year-old was caught on the line at Doncaster after Royston Ffrench eased his mount before the winning post, earning himself a 14-day suspension.
Today's rider Robert Winston also now faces a spell on the sidelines after being found guilty of irresponsible riding during the West Indies Cricket Carnival Handicap.
Happy Diamond had passed the post in second behind 6-1 winner Freedom Quest but was placed fourth by the racecourse stewards.
Winston was suspended for five days (July 18th-22nd inclusive).
Elsewhere on the card, Darryll Holland and Newmarket trainer Jeremy Noseda teamed up for a 23-1 double with Crazy Larrys and Stallone.
