Diamond White`s rags-to-riches tale could end in a tilt at the Breeders` Cup at Kentucky in November, it emerged today.
Mick Ryan is to aim for more big American prizes with the hard-working five-year-old after her gallant effort at Arlington last weekend.
And the world`s richest meeting is under consideration for the humbly-bred mare, who took her career earnings past #220,000 when fourth under Frankie Dettori in Saturday`s Beverly D Stakes - her 58th career race.
'She has come out of the race `A OK` and Frankie thinks she should have been second,' the trainer said.
'She got into trouble on the bend - she was only beaten two and a half lengths and she definitely lost around a length and a half.
'She will come back here then she is going back for another race at Arlington next month and then probably another at Hollywood Park.
'We will try and map it out so she doesn`t have to keep coming back and forth. Options are open and we could think about the Breeders` Cup.'
Ryan used to work in the USA and reckons the racing programme in that country is more suitable for Diamond White.
'They put on a lot of races for fillies and mares in America,' he said. 'There are next to none here - and when they do have them they are hot as hot.
'Diamond White is as tough as teak and we know she takes the travelling - horses like her don`t come along very often.'
