Charlie Egerton today expressed himself satisfied with Decoupage's preparation for the Irish Independent Arkle Trophy Chase at next month's Cheltenham Festival.
The eight-year-old has not raced since landing the Extraman Henry VII Novices' Chase at Sandown Park last December from Wakeel and Saturday's impressive Kempton winner Gloria Victis and the trainer said: "The horse is fine and on schedule for Cheltenham."
Decoupage is the 3-1 favourite with Ladbrokes for the Arkle Chase.
Egerton also had news of his Rendlesham Hurdle winner Teaatral, who is the 10-1 favourite with the sponsors for the Coral Cup at Cheltenham following his impressive victory at Kempton on Friday.
He said: "Teaatral is very well, absolutely fine and touch wood, fingers crossed and everything else the horses are all on schedule."
