Daliapour was today handed an alternative option in the Far East after being ruled out of Sunday week`s Japan Cup.

But his owner`s racing manager Pat Downes told the Racing Post: 'He will not run in the Japan Cup. After his work last week he had a suspect scope and we decided he would not travel.
'The chances are that he will now go for the Hong Kong International Vase.'
Also invited to the mile-and-a-half Vase are the Mark Johnston-trained Japan Cup hope Fruits Of Love, Michael Jarvis` Ela Athena and Godolphin`s Mutafaweq.
Daliapour`s trainer Sir Michael Stoute has Greek Dance in the 10-furlong Group One Cup. He could face Godolphin`s Fantastic Light in race which forms the last leg of the Emirates World Series of racing.
Nigel Tinkler has Sugarfoot in the Group One Mile while fellow North Yorkshire trainer Kevin Ryan is responsible for Sprint hope Eastern Purple.
Britain has a good record in the International meeting of late, with Docksider, First Island and Luso (twice) all successful in the past five years.
Hong Kong`s own representatives in the four-race series will be announced next month.
