The Mitchelstown Hurdle at Cork today went to the Tony Martin trained Robin Du Bois under a confident ride from Robbie Colgan.
The French bred gelding raced in third before Colgan moved the gelding to lead at the final flight, eventually staying on well for a length and a quarter win over Copisano.
Martin was absent but winning owner Seamus Ross did report "Robin Du Bois will stay hurdling but he should be able to jump a fence in time. We weren't expecting to win today but Lounaos did not run her race."
