Saturday’s meeting at Cork looks set fair to go ahead as scheduled following concerns over waterlogging earlier this week.
Parts of the track were waterlogged and the Mallow venue was deemed unfit for racing on Tuesday but conditions have improved since.
The course is now fit for racing with the going currently described as heavy, soft to heavy in places.
The forecast is mainly dry for the coming days with some frost at night when temperatures may dip to -2C.
There are nine declared for the featured EASYFIX Handicap Hurdle with the action getting underway on the seven-race card at 12.12pm.
There is a complementary bus to and from Mallow Train Station and the town with full details on @corkracecourse
Live music after racing is performed by Peter Byrne and The Glass Onion Band.
