Restricted trainer Pat Collins from County Armagh recorded his first winner on the track when taking the concluding Baganbun Mares Flat Race with Tear Drops
Jason McKeown who was doing the steering made all aboard the daughter of Beneficial, the pair stayed on strongly on the run-in to hold off 3/1 favourite Beat The Band by a length.
A delighted Collins said afterwards: “That was my first winner on the track, I have four horses in training.”
“We will try find a nice hurdle race for her next.”
