Jamie Codd, who leads Derek O'Connor at the head of the Jockeys' Championship, has suffered a wrist injury at Inch point-to-point today.

Riding the Denis Murphy trained Steel Appeal in the 4YO Maiden (division 1), Codd and his mount came to grief at the second fence.

Codd, who is chasing his first Jockeys' Championship and leads Derek O'Connor 52-49, was transferred to Waterford hospital for examination on a suspected fracture.
