Caught U Looking is reported in good shape by Noel Meade ahead of the €500,000 Juddmonte Irish Oaks at the Curragh next Saturday.

The daughter of Harzand won twice last year including the Group 3 Weld Park Stakes at the Curragh and has been stepped up in trip this term finishing a two-length fourth behind Ezeliya in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Salsabil Stakes at Navan before taking on the same rival at Epsom.

“I couldn’t be happier and she’s really bloomed since Epsom. She worked during the week and we’re delighted with her,” said Meade.

“It’s all systems go and hopefully we’ll get her there in one piece.”

Caught U Looking finished a creditable fifth behind the now sidelined Ezeliya in the Betfred Oaks although the Castletown trainer confessed to being a shade underwhelmed by the run.

“I was a little bit disappointed with her and thought she would at least be in the first four, but she’s done well since then.”
