The Stewards interviewed Gary Carroll, rider of the winner Firm Foundations concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Gary Carroll had used his whip with excessive frequency and suspended him for one race day.
