James 'Corky' Carroll has a good record when riding for Edward O'Grady and the Charleville amateur partnered another winner for Ballynonty when Cruise On Bach took the concluding [email protected] Flat Race.
Second favourite behind Anderson Mcauley Cruise On Bach fought it out with the market-leader and two others a furlong and a half out but he came home strongest from under a furlong out to prevail by two and a half lengths.
Carroll commented: "He is tough and it probably suited for me to come with my challenge when I did."
