Camile served up a 12/1 surprise in Tipperary as she saw off the challenge of Niven at the end of the mile and one handicap.

The three-year-old filly's best two runs came last August in Roscommon when she was third on debut in an auction race and fourth in a maiden. She had been unplaced in three subsequent appearances.

Colm O'Donoghue got her into full stride approaching the final furlong and she forged on all the way to the line as top-weight Niven (5/1) tried to reel her in. He failed by half a length to get on terms. This foiled a potential treble for Niven's trainer Ken Condon. Way To My Heart (11/1) grabbed third place for Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien.

"She was put up 4lbs for finishing fifth in a maiden the last day but it was nice to get this and she did it great," Jessica Harrington said.

"I was a bit worried about the ground but she had had two runs already this season and has a great attitude. She has a great attitude but why wouldn't she as she is Macnicholson's half sister? He mightn't win very often but he is tough and hardly."
