CRIMPLENE HEADS DEAUVILLE ACCEPTORS

Crimplene remains a possible starter in Sunday`s Prix du Haras de Fresnay-Le-Buffard Jacques le Marois at Deauville following today`s forfeit stage.

The filly, who completed a hat-trick of Group One victories in the Vodafone Nassau Stakes at Goodwood last Saturday, is one of 21 horses to have stood their ground for the Group One contest.

Trainer Clive Brittain`s wife Maureen said: 'We`re keeping our options open and no definite decision has been made.

'She`s very well in herself.'

Godolphin retain a strong entry in the one-mile event despite the retirement of last year`s winner Dubai Millennium.

Sheikh Mohammed`s operation have five horses in the Group One contest including last year`s Sagitta 2000 Guineas winner Island Sands.

Their squad also includes Fly To The Stars, Kabool, Muhtathir and China Visit.

The other British-trained entries are Nigel Tinkler`s Sugarfoot, the Michael Jarvis-trained Alrassaam, Amanda Perrett`s Indian Lodge and the Richard Hannon-trained Cape Town.

The home defence is headed by the Alain de Royer Dupre-trained Sendawar who will be attempting to put a disappointing fourth behind Dubai Millennium at Ascot last time behind him.

Another intended runner is Lady of Chad, who came back to form with a runaway four-length win in the Prix d`Astarte over course and distance late last month.

Star Japanese rider Yutake Take, who rode the filly on that occasion, is jetting in to partner her again on Sunday.
