Ray Cochrane has given up his rides at Lingfield Park today after suffering a leg injury at Nottingham on Friday.
However, the jockey is expected to be back in action on Monday.
His agent Andrew Gilbert explained: "He was riding Jenin for Pip Payne in the first race at Nottingham yesterday when it stumbled badly during the race.
"He lost his irons and was thrown up its neck and this morning his thigh muscles are hurting - it's literally soreness from clinging on.
"With tomorrow being Sunday it gives him two days. He rode work this morning but he said he was pretty sore afterwards.
"He'll be back on Monday."
Cochrane had three booked rides at the Surrey track including Bandanna for Ron Hodges in the £50,000 Tote Scoop6 Sprint.
